Ryan Garner successfully defended his WBC International super featherweight title against Archie Sharp. The judges gave the fight to Garner with scores of 98-92, 97-93, and 97-93. Despite injuring Sharp in the sixth round, Garner had to deal with Sharp’s up-close fighting style, which made the later rounds more challenging. Moses Itauma defeated Mariusz Wach swiftly with a second-round knockout from a series of powerful punches. Dennis McCann controlled the fight against Ionut Baluta, winning by unanimous decision and adding the European title to his achievements. Royston Barney-Smith won his first title with scores of 79-73 and 78-74, while Sean Noakes claimed the English welterweight title in a closely fought match.
