Joe Tessitore has officially become a part of the WWE RAW commentary team and made his first appearance on the show on September 2nd. Wade Barrett introduced Tessitore to the fans, with Tessitore expressing his enthusiasm and gratitude for the opportunity to be a part of the RAW broadcast team.
Tessitore was previously seen on the Countdown to WWE SummerSlam, where Michael Cole announced his move to RAW. In response, Cole transitioned to WWE SmackDown. Barrett, who was part of SmackDown, has now joined Tessitore on RAW, while Corey Graves and Cole will now be the commentary team for SmackDown.
Having a strong background in boxing commentary for ESPN, Tessitore also covers college football and has experience calling Monday Night Football and other NFL games. Despite his venture into WWE, he will continue his work with ABC/ESPN.
