Aspinall had called for a title unification fight with Jones, leading Jones to share his initial thoughts on social media, saying, “This is supply and demand at its best, I’m all for it.”
Even though Jones is set to defend his title versus Stipe Miocic later this year, fans are excited about the prospect of a showdown between Jones and Aspinall. However, Jones is also considering other opportunities, such as a potential bout with Alex Pereira. At the UFC 304 post-fight press conference, Aspinall emphasized his belief that he is the best in the world and expressed his interest in facing Jones next, highlighting Jones’s apparent preference for Aspinall to lose to Blaydes.
