This weekend is a significant moment for Daniel Dubois as he gears up to take on Anthony Joshua in the IBF world title fight. Dubois has expressed his confidence and preparedness for the bout, declaring, “It’s my time. I’m ready for it.” Despite Joshua’s history as a two-time heavyweight champion, Dubois firmly believes that this fight will mark his ascendancy.

“This is my moment, and I am the champion,” Dubois affirmed. “I will secure victory by any means necessary.” Joshua, on the other hand, maintains his belief in his skills, stating, “I have faith in myself, and I believe that’s the right mindset to have.” The fight is being arranged by Saudi Arabia’s sports authority, Turki Alalshikh, who is reshaping the boxing scene.

Reflecting on the event, Joshua expressed, “This is no small affair; they’ve turned it into something enormous. We are witnessing a new era in boxing – a golden age, in my opinion.” Eddie Hearn, Joshua’s promoter, acknowledged the buzz surrounding the fight and acknowledged the threat posed by Dubois, referring to him as a “very live underdog” with a “powerful punch.”
