Khabib Nurmagomedov, the retired and undefeated UFC lightweight champion with an impressive 29-0 record, doesn’t linger on what-ifs. While he missed out on facing notable opponents like Georges St-Pierre and Tony Ferguson, Nurmagomedov always felt he would handle them easily due to their perceived deficiencies in wrestling and grappling. Even though Ferguson posed as one of his toughest challengers, Nurmagomedov remained confident in his ability to emerge victorious as he had with every other opponent in his career. Despite the disappointment of their fight being scheduled five times but never coming to fruition, Nurmagomedov accepts it as fate. In response to Nurmagomedov’s recent comments undermining Ferguson’s skills, Ferguson has shown resolve by stating his readiness to compete beyond the UFC.
