Before UFC 304, an event in Manchester, England, King Green boldly asked UFC CEO Dana White to double the bonuses for winning Performance of the Night or Fight of the Night awards to $100,000. White accepted the request, and officials confirmed the change.

During a press conference, White was discussing the significance of UFC 304 in U.K. MMA history, with British champions Leon Edwards and Tom Aspinall defending their titles. Green, who is scheduled to fight Paddy Pimblett at the event, suggested the bonus increase to White, saying, “Uncle Dana, let’s spice it up a little bit. Can we get a hundred Gs for it? Can we get a hundred? Let’s spice it up a little bit.” Edwards also supported the idea, leading White to approve the increase.

In the main event of UFC 304, Edwards will defend his welterweight title against Belal Muhammad. When Muhammad learned about the increased bonus, he enthusiastically responded, saying, “Let’s go!” However, Edwards jokingly dismissed his opponent’s aspiration to knock someone out.
