The exciting Bellator 301 event is set to conclude later today at Wintrust Arena in Chicago, Illinois. The event will feature a welterweight title match between division champions Yaroslav Amosov and Jason Jackson. In the co-main event, bantamweight champion Sergio Pettis will take on the interim champion, Patchy Mix. Other action includes Patricky Pitbull facing Alexander Chablis in a lightweight grand prix match, AJ McKee returning to take on Sydney Outlaw, and a bantamweight rematch between Danny Sabatello and Laufeon Stotts.

Round 1: Kickoff with a hard jab from Pettis. Leg kick lands for Pettis, and Mix lands a jab. Mix shoots for a takedown and easily picks up Pettis before taking him to the canvas. Mix in Pettis’ guard. Mix is trying to mount, but is currently in side control. Although Mix hasn’t been able to get much offense out of the top position, he was in control for the majority of the fight. It was a pretty uneventful opening game, to say the least. Mix with a driving knee to the right shoulder of Pettis. Mix tries to secure his cross position but fails. 10-9 mix
Round 2: Pettis goes wild with a spinning backfist, but misses and briefly lands on the canvas. Standing up, Mix now takes a shot and turns his back to the ground. Mix sinks into a hook, now switching to a body triangle and working towards a rear naked choke. Pettis is in a corner, but Mix stays firm and Pettis sees his face turn red before he taps out. Great mix performance.

Round 1: Sabatello comes out aggressive with a flying knee. He then delivers a series of kicks to the body before going for a takedown. Stotts forces him into a headlock and Sabatello gets into side control. They stand up and Stotts immediately lands a three-punch combo. Sabatello goes for another takedown and gets it. There’s a crazy scramble for position, and both men are like the energizer bunnies in it. Sabatello is back at Stotts. Sabatello gets to his feet and Stotts starts driving him with knees to the body. 10-9 Stotz
Round 2: Sabatello lands a nice kick to the body and Stotts shoots for a takedown, but Sabatello uses a deft sweep to get Stotts back. Guard Sabatello aims for mount. Stotts turned away from him. Sabatello is currently trying to sink into a hook for a rear naked choke. Stotts tries hard to transform into Sabatello, but this time he is in danger of getting caught in his arm triangle. Stotts is currently in the top position and is in charge of side control. Stotts damages Dome with a short shot from above. Sabatello is defending well, but he has stotts all over his body. Stotts gets to his feet and starts to unload, landing a head kick before Sabatello secures a takedown. Stotts reverses and hits an elbow from the top. 10-9 Stotz
