A fresh contest has been confirmed for the upcoming episode of AEW Dynamite on August 7.
Tony Khan took to Twitter to reveal that Mariah May will go head-to-head with Viva Van in a singles bout during the event.
May, the victor of the Owen Hart Foundation Women’s Tournament, is gearing up to challenge Toni Storm for the prestigious AEW Women’s World Championship at AEW All In.
The current lineup for the August 7 episode of AEW Dynamite features:
– AEW American Championship Eliminator: MJF vs. Kyle Fletcher
– No Disqualification match: Jeff Jarrett vs. Bryan Danielson featuring special appearance by Ricky “The Dragon” Steamboat
– Katsuyori Shibata vs. Bryan Keith
– Mariah May vs. Viva Van
