WWE’s backstage environment in 2024 differs significantly from previous years, notably with the absence of “Wrestler’s Court.”

Originally intended to maintain order and discipline among the wrestlers, Wrestler’s Court has often been misunderstood as a platform for mocking individuals. However, WWE Hall of Famer Mark Henry clarified on the “Huge Pop” podcast that the main misconception about Wrestler’s Court is that it was used for bullying.

“It’s not about bullying, it’s for entertainment,” Henry explained. “Those who took it too seriously could easily bribe their way out by purchasing a bottle of Jack Daniels, as the judge could always be swayed. All it took was a small sum and a bottle of alcohol to lighten the mood.”

Several prominent WWE figures, including Matt Hardy, The Miz, and former writer Brian Gewirtz, faced judgment in Wrestler’s Court. While some can now look back and laugh, not everyone approved of the concept. CM Punk famously criticized it as a display of insecurity and embarrassment in the wrestling industry.
