Conor McGregor showed up at the ‘Joshua vs. Dubois’ mega-event held at Wembley Arena in London today to talk about his fighting career ahead. McGregor has been out of action since sustaining a leg injury in July 2021 in his bout against Dustin Poirier. Originally scheduled to fight Michael Chandler at UFC 303 in July, he had to pull out due to a broken toe. Despite facing criticism for this decision, McGregor has a reputation for accepting fights at short notice. His comeback was further postponed when Chandler opted for a rematch against Charles Oliveira at UFC 309 in November. McGregor hinted at a potential return in 2025 during an interview at the event. He is focused on maintaining his fitness levels and being prepared for his upcoming fights. Additionally, McGregor raised concerns about his future beyond the upcoming year when his UFC contract will have come to an end.
