Michael Bisping didn’t mince words when discussing the upcoming boxing match between Jake Paul and Mike Tyson. The bout is set for November 15 at AT&T Stadium in Arlington, Texas, but it has been met with criticism due to the considerable age gap between the two fighters and a prior delay. Despite the hype surrounding the event, many, including UFC Hall of Famer Michael Bisping, see it as a farce.

Speaking at a press conference in New York City, Bisping voiced his concerns about the fight and slammed Paul for his conduct, deeming him a “tool bag” and a “disgrace to the fighting world.” Bisping pointed out that the match seems more like a business venture than a genuine sporting competition and chastised Paul for presenting it as anything beyond a money-making scheme.

Bisping underscored the disparity in age between the fighters, arguing that facing the almost 60-year-old Tyson doesn’t showcase true athletic competition and adversity. He questioned Paul’s credibility as a fighter and urged him to take on opponents of similar age. Drawing on his own experience as a young fighter, Bisping emphasized that true competitors seek real tests, not easy wins against considerably older adversaries.
