Mike Perry shared that Darren Till declined a significant offer to face him in a fight.
Transitioning from the UFC to BKFC in 2022, Perry’s success has soared, establishing himself as a bare-knuckle star. In a short period, he has faced off against notable fighters like Michael Venom Page, Luke Rockhold, and Eddie Alvarez.
Anticipating his comeback in 2024, Perry and long-time rival Darren Till seemed on the brink of a showdown. With verbal jabs traded between them, the clash seemed inevitable as both were free from UFC contracts.
The BKFC Chairman revealed that Till’s financial demands were met during negotiations, but Till declined the deal.
“I heard he said no to anything over $2 million,” Perry mentioned in the latest episode of the TV show. MMA hour. “Darren’s just messing around over there.”
Perry disclosed that Till preferred a traditional boxing match over a bare-knuckle brawl and remains firm in his decision, unaffected by the monetary offer.
“What is he doing? What is he doing? I know they made him a crazy offer,” Perry expressed. “Respect that you are not interested in such offers and want what you want. When you want what you want, that is admirable. But that is also one thing about BKFC. After all, the gloves are screwed on. Test yourself. Skin and bones, that’s what it’s about.”

Despite his upcoming fight at Knucklemania 4, Perry has not ruled out the possibility of a boxing match with Till, provided the financial terms are agreeable.
“A lot of guys say they want to do it with something like boxing gloves or gloves,” Perry commented. “Those battles will happen in the future. For the most part, [BKFC] The deal is that I can do other things for the right money, but I’m paid very well so it has to be right.”
