Michael “Venom” Page, a UFC fighter, is set to fight Kevin Holland at UFC 299.

Following UFC 296 in Las Vegas, Nevada, UFC CEO Dana White revealed that Page has joined the promotion and will be fighting fan-favorite Kevin Holland at UFC 299 on March 16th in Miami, Florida.

Additionally, UFC 299 will feature other exciting matchups, including Song Yadong vs. Petr Yan, Gilbert Burns vs. Jacques de la Maddalena, and Ian Garry vs. Jeff Neal.

The bout between Page and Holland had been rumored after it was leaked during Page’s appearance on the “Full Send Podcast.” White had expressed interest in signing the 36-year-old prior to the leak.

Page, who has been a prominent figure in Bellator for the past ten years, has fought 19 times for the promotion and once contended for the welterweight championship. He is likely to face a top 15 welterweight, mirroring the experience of former Bellator fighter Michael Chandler at UFC 257.

Holland, on the other hand, recently suffered a unanimous decision loss to Maddalena at Noche UFC and has a record of 2-1 in his last three fights.

The current lineup for UFC 299 includes:

  • Sean O’Malley vs. Marlon Vera in a bantamweight title fight
  • Gilbert Burns vs. Jack Della Maddalena
  • Kevin Holland vs. Michael Page
  • Jailton Almeida vs. Curtis Blaydes
  • Ian Garry vs. Geoff Neil
  • Song Yadong vs. Petr Yan
  • Macy Barber vs. Katelyn Chokajian
  • As Almabaev vs. CJ Vergara
  • Rafael dos Anjos vs. Mateusz Gamlot
