Nate Diaz is keen on facing Jake Paul again in the boxing arena. Diaz has emphasized that any potential rematch should be in boxing before considering an MMA bout.

Their initial contest occurred in August 2023, where Paul emerged victorious via a unanimous decision. Diaz, in his first boxing match following a lengthy UFC career, was knocked down by Paul in the fifth round. Paul’s victory came after a defeat to Tommy Fury earlier that year.

Paul recently stated that Diaz declined a $10 million offer for an MMA rematch. Diaz promptly responded on social media, indicating he is ready to fight Paul in MMA immediately. Nevertheless, he stipulated that the rematch must first occur in boxing, potentially followed by a trilogy in MMA.

Since their initial bout, Diaz has kept busy, securing a victory over Jorge Masvidal in the boxing ring. Meanwhile, Paul has been on a winning streak, triumphing over competitors such as Mike Perry, Ryan Bourland, and Andre August. He even controversially defeated Mike Tyson last November.

Although Paul’s next fight is not set until 2025, Diaz’s challenge has piqued fans’ interest. Whether these two fighters will face off again remains to be seen, but the prospect is undeniably intriguing.
