[The upcoming rematch between Nate Diaz and Jorge Masvidal has been moved to July 6 at the Honda Center in Anaheim, California. Originally, it was planned for June 1 at the Kia Forum in Inglewood but had to be rescheduled due to conflicting events. MMA Junkie confirmed this change after a report from Boxing Scene.

The initial June 1 date coincided with UFC 302, which featured a lightweight championship bout between Islam Makhachev and Dustin Poirier, along with a boxing match in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia. Diaz and Masvidal squared off for the first time at UFC 244 for the BMF title; this time, they will face each other in a boxing ring following a promotional tour across the United States.

Diaz, aged 38, is no longer bound by a UFC contract, having achieved victory over Tony Ferguson at UFC 279 and making his professional boxing debut against Jake Paul. On the other hand, Masvidal, aged 39, remains under a UFC contract but has received authorization to engage in a boxing match against Diaz. His most recent fight was at UFC 287, where he suffered a defeat at the hands of Gilbert Burns.
