Former world boxing champion Johnny Nelson believes that a rematch between WBA, WBO, and WBC heavyweight titleholder Oleksandr Usyk and IBF champion Daniel Dubois may not come to fruition.
“I don’t know if this fight will happen again. Does Usyk need it? Daniel is dangerous, but is there enough demand for him? If Usyk gets paid enough money, he’ll be interested, but is anyone willing to pay that much? I’m not sure,” Nelson stated during an interview with the YouTube channel SecondsOut.
It is worth noting that the first encounter between these boxers took place in August 2023 and concluded with Usyk’s victory by knockout.
