Professional fighter Mike Perry has entered the world of fight promotion with the introduction of the Dirty Boxing Championship. Created by Perry, together with his team at First Round Management, as well as Adam Kovacs and Josh McLean, this organization will showcase bouts with hybrid rules that blend traditional boxing with some ground-and-pound elements.

Perry’s vision for the championship is to offer a platform for fighters who might not be interested in participating in bare-knuckle competitions. The matches are set to occur in an 18-foot ring, lasting three rounds of three minutes each, and allowing for all types of hand strikes and elbows. The premiere event is anticipated to take place sometime between September and October, although details of any broadcasting agreements are still being finalized.

Despite his background in bare-knuckle boxing, Perry is considering stepping into the ring in this new venture, provided that the matchups align with the promotional objectives. Notably, the rules have been designed to attract a diverse audience and promise thrilling contests that will captivate fans.
