ONE Championship is kicking off 2025 in style with a fiery U.S. primetime event on Friday, January 10. The world’s largest martial arts organization will host ONE Friday Fights 27: Tang vs. Abdullaev on Prime Video beginning at 8 p.m. ET/5 p.m. PT, featuring high-stakes matchups in MMA, Muay Thai, and submission grappling at Lumpinee Stadium in Bangkok, Thailand.
In the main event, ONE Featherweight MMA World Champion Tang Kai goes to war with #5-ranked contender Akbar Abdullaev in a five-round non-title catchweight contest. Tang, China’s first male MMA World Champion, is unbeaten in ONE, scoring eight victories against the division’s toughest fighters. In the other corner, Abdullaev boasts a professional MMA record of 11-0 with a dominant 100 percent finishing rate.
In another featured bout, #2-ranked contender Denice Zamboanga meets #4-ranked Alyona Rassohyna for the ONE Interim Women’s Atomweight MMA World Title. Along with 26 pounds of gold, the winner will earn a World Title unification fight against divisional queen Stamp Fairtex when she returns from injury.
