After his impressive victory at UFC 304 in Manchester, Paddy Pimblett, now among the top 15 lightweight contenders, has gained attention once again for increasing his weight to nearly 200lbs following his recent win. This weight gain follows his dominant first-round submission triumph over King Green at UFC 304, securing his sixth consecutive win.

Previously ranked fifteenth in the lightweight division, Pimblett had also claimed a decision win against former interim lightweight champion Tony Ferguson before his most recent success. With his sights potentially set on facing Renato Moicano, headlining UFC Fight Night Paris against Benoit Saint Denis next month, Pimblett seems to be contemplating a move to middleweight due to his current weight. In a video posted on his official YouTube channel, Pimblett revealed that he now weighs approximately 198lbs, well surpassing the lightweight limit of 156lbs for his last fight.

In response to Pimblett’s challenge after his win in Manchester, Moicano praised the fighter from Liverpool for suggesting a season of ‘The Ultimate Fighter.’ Moicano humorously remarked, “It’s going to be the first ‘Ultimate Fighter’ with subtitles, my brother, because I cannot understand this motherf*cker. Maybe his English is worse than mine.”

Looking forward to a potential showdown, Moicano stated, “Let me speak seriously about that, Paddy Pimblett: I’m aiming to defeat Benoit Saint-Denis in France, and then we can discuss business. Show me the money and let’s make it happen.” The scene is set for an intriguing future bout between the up-and-coming Pimblett and the seasoned Moicano.
