Former UFC star Paige VanZant entered the boxing ring for the first time against the current Misfits Boxing middleweight champion Elle Brooke at MF & DAZN: X Series 15. With an MMA record of 8-5, VanZant switched to bare-knuckle fighting in 2021 but faced defeats against Britain Hart and Rachael Ostovich.
In the match, VanZant took on Elle Brooke, known for her boxing skills with a record of 4-1 and a recent knockout win over Andrea-Jane Bunker. Despite VanZant’s reach advantage, Brooke landed a powerful right hand in the first round that knocked VanZant down. However, VanZant managed to recover and continue fighting.
VanZant staged a comeback in the second round as Brooke started to tire. The fight remained intense with Brooke dominating in the fourth round with her strong punches. Following five rounds of fierce competition, the judges announced a split draw (48-46, 46-48, 47-47), hinting at a potential rematch later this year.
