Bob Arum, the promoter at Top Rank, mentioned that Vasily Lomachenko, the IBF lightweight champion, is considering facing Emanuel Navarrete, Gervonta Davis, Frank Martin, or Shakur Stevenson in his upcoming fight following his impressive win over George Kambosos Jr. by knockout in the eleventh round last weekend in Perth, Australia.

Lomachenko (18-3, 12 KOs) put on a stellar performance, dominating the former unified lightweight champion Kambosos (20-3, 10 KOs) with two knockdowns before securing a knockout victory in the eleventh round at the RAC Arena in Perth.

Shakur Stevenson: Unlikely Opponent

Arum mentioned that Stevenson is probably not the best choice for Lomachenko as he doesn’t attract pay-per-view audiences, making the fight financially unattractive. Pursuing a match with Stevenson might not be the most beneficial decision for Lomachenko.

For Lomachenko, the most lucrative options for his next fight would be Tank Davis or Navarrete. Davis, who is currently defending his WBA lightweight title against Martin, has expressed interest in stepping into the ring with Lomachenko, providing both fighters with a profitable opportunity.

Arum recognizes the complexities in negotiating with PBC to set up a match between Davis and Lomachenko but regards it as the most financially beneficial avenue to explore.

Arum stressed the significance of securing the best and most financially rewarding fight for Lomachenko in his upcoming bout, whether it involves Navarrete, Davis, Martin, or Stevenson.
