The upcoming co-headline showdown at ONE 167 is set to happen at the Impact Arena in Bangkok on Saturday morning. Puric, appearing fit and trim, registered a weight of 134.75lbs and has agreed to go ahead with the bout against Rodtang. As a consequence of the Thai fighter’s weight misstep, Puric stands to gain 25 percent of Rodtang’s earnings, a substantial sum especially considering Rodtang’s standing as one of the promotion’s top moneymakers.

Rodtang, who is said to rake in 10 million baht (HK$2.1 million) per fight, acknowledged his lack of seriousness in preparing for the fight. Conversely, Puric exuded confidence, boldly stating, “I am the Bosnian bomber, and tomorrow I’m going to unleash these nukes. It’s time for a new king.”

The headline fight will showcase Tawanchai PKSaenchaigym defending his featherweight Muay Thai title against Jo Nattawut in a highly anticipated rematch. In their previous encounter under kickboxing regulations, Tawanchai emerged victorious, although many believed Nattawut deserved the win. Both competitors tipped the scales correctly, with Tawanchai at 155lbs and Nattawut at 152.25lbs.

The event will feature a total of 11 fights, with one bantamweight Muay Thai matchup between Liam Harrison and Katsuni Kitano scrapped due to both fighters failing to make weight. The event kicks off at 7 am local time and will be livestreamed on YouTube in Hong Kong.
