Brendan Schaub recently expressed his dissatisfaction with the UFC 306 event, citing his disappointment with what transpired at Noche UFC. The event unfolded at the striking Las Vegas Sphere, garnering attention for its impressive visual presentation. Despite the grandeur of the setting, Schaub felt that the actual fights fell short of expectations.

Schaub commended the event’s production value, recognizing the UFC’s achievement in executing a groundbreaking event at the Sphere. Nonetheless, he raised concerns about the fights’ caliber, especially critiquing the main and co-main events as not meeting the standards for a pay-per-view event.

UFC 306 culminated in two title fights featuring Merab Dvalishvili and Valentina Shevchenko, both clinching victories through unanimous decisions. While acknowledging their successful performances, Schaub believed that the event overall lacked star power and failed to deliver the anticipated excitement.

Drawing a comparison, Schaub likened the UFC 306 event at the Sphere to the Rainforest Cafe – visually captivating but ultimately underwhelming in substance. He underscored the significance of product quality over aesthetics, highlighting that while the ambiance may captivate, it’s the product’s quality that ultimately defines its success.
