Israel Adesanya is taking a break from fighting, but he’s been keeping busy.

A report by stuff reveals that Adesanya has significantly expanded his property portfolio in New Zealand, with his latest acquisition being a newly built condominium in Palmerston North, situated on the North Island. The subdivision is named “Adesanya Crows” in honor of the two-time UFC middleweight champion.

According to property manager Wade Thompson, the Adesanya Close property attracted 3,000 views in December last year, and three of the seven units have already been sold. The article also references real estate records estimating the value of Adesanya’s property investments to exceed $20 million.

Adesanya’s astute business acumen comes as no surprise to those familiar with the UFC superstar’s endeavors. Prior to his rematch with Robert Whittaker at UFC 271 in February 2022, Adesanya’s manager revealed that he had secured a contract that ranks among the “most financially rewarding multi-fight contracts in the company’s history,” positioning him as “one of the highest-earning athletes in the history of mixed martial arts.”

Thompson also suggested that Adesanya likely possesses more than 19 properties “from Auckland to Dunedin.”

Adesanya is known for managing various projects, including striking a deal with sports apparel brand Puma in 2020 to promote a documentary chronicling his illustrious career, titled style bender, which premiered at the Tribeca Film Festival last June.

Although he announced his temporary departure from competition after losing his title fight to Sean Strickland at UFC 293 in September of this year, Adesanya hinted in a subsequent interview that his hiatus may conclude sooner than anticipated.
