In a highly anticipated match in Saudi Arabia, undefeated Nick Ball faced WBC featherweight champion Rey Vargas. Despite being the underdog, Ball made an impact early in the fight by showing aggressiveness towards the taller Vargas. Vargas managed to land significant punches but found himself challenged by Ball’s tenacity.
As the fight progressed, Ball’s relentless pressure paid off as he managed to knock down Vargas twice, once in the eighth round and the other in the eleventh. Vargas, however, showed resilience by getting back up and continuing to trade blows with Ball. The match was intense and showcased both fighters’ determination.
In the end, the judges declared the fight a split draw, emphasizing the competitiveness and skill displayed by both Vargas and Ball throughout the twelve rounds.
