Ryan Garcia finds Devin Haney’s pre-fight knockout claims entertaining. He considers Haney’s aspirations to knock him out as unrealistic.

At the upcoming bout at the Barclays Center in Brooklyn, New York on April 20th, Garcia, aged 25, is seen as the underdog against Haney, a two-division world champion.

Garcia doesn’t believe in the knockout power of Haney (31-0, 15 KOs) and is looking forward to bringing him back down to earth during their headline fight on DAZN PPV.

With a record of 24-1 and 20 KOs, Garcia is determined to prove his critics wrong. Many anticipate that Haney, the WBC lightweight champion, will dominate the fight and potentially secure a knockout victory.

“A figment of his imagination”

“He can hold on to his beliefs as much as he wants. April 20th is when we settle it in the ring. Let’s deal with the reality then,” Ryan Garcia expressed to ABN Sports Media when addressing Devin Haney’s knockout claims.

Haney’s father, Bill, feels his son’s power has increased as he adjusts to the 140-pound weight division for his second fight in this category. Garcia dismisses Bill’s comments as baseless and hopes Devin can bring some power to their fight on April 20th.

In media workouts, Haney appeared lacking in strength, delivering weak punches familiar to his fans.

Garcia shuts down the doubters with confidence.

“The possibility of that happening is very low. Anyone can land a knockout punch, but what he’s saying is absurd. It doesn’t bother me. I will prove him wrong when we step into the ring,” Garcia stated assertively.

Following a victory over Haney in front of his supporters, Garcia is eager to celebrate and gloat.

“Anyone thinking Haney will defeat me is mistaken, but that’s okay. I’m feeling great and confident. My energy is high. You’re going to witness it all,” he continued.

“Defeat Haney, and the party starts.”

“I will handle business in the ring, dominate him, and then celebrate. I’ll have a smoke, enjoy myself, and do whatever I want. I will set the ambiance. Brooklyn will feel it. Stay tuned,” Ryan declared when sending a message to Haney.

Upon defeating Haney, Garcia plans to revel in a celebration with top-quality cigars and drinks to mark the occasion.
