Sabah Homasi, a Bellator MMA fighter, has not yet received complete reimbursement for the medical expenses he incurred during his fight against Levan Chokheli in September 2023. It has been almost a year since the fight took place, and Homasi is still waiting for Bellator to cover his medical bills.

Homasi took to social media in April to raise awareness about his situation, questioning whether other fighters affected by the PFL/Bellator merger were facing similar issues with reimbursement for their medical costs. According to sources, Homasi is still owed around $12,000, plus interest, out of the $32,000 he spent on medical treatments. Despite his attempts to contact PFL, the organization has not issued a statement regarding his case.

Homasi expressed his frustration, mentioning how he had to delay his surgery at the request of the company. PFL co-owner Donn Davis placed the blame on Paramount, Bellator’s previous owner, stating that they had not fulfilled their obligation to pay for Homasi’s medical expenses.

With Paramount’s impending sale to Skydance Media for $8 billion, Homasi’s situation remains uncertain. He continues to wait for the reimbursement of his medical bills with no clear timeline on when he will receive the payment.
