The partnership between UFC and Saudi Arabia has been prolonged, as disclosed by Turki Alalshikh, the head of the general entertainment authority for entertainment in Saudi Arabia. They are set to continue their collaboration with Riyadh Season, which involves organizing another fight event during 2024-25. Riyadh Season will also sponsor UFC 306 in September at The Sphere in Las Vegas.

Alalshikh highlighted that this agreement is a part of Riyadh Season’s endeavors to host and partner with notable international events and to attract a broader audience with a variety of content. He underlined UFC’s widespread global following and its elite status as the leading mixed martial arts organization worldwide.

A snapshot of Alalshikh with UFC CEO Dana White was shared on social media alongside the announcement of the deal. Furthermore, there are preparations underway for UFC’s inaugural event in Saudi Arabia on June 22 at Kingdom Arena, showcasing a middleweight title-eliminator contest between Robert Whittaker and Khamzat Chimaev.

The extended partnership will also feature a Power Slap event in Riyadh. Enthusiasts can engage in conversations about mixed martial arts by connecting with the MMA Junkie Instagram page and YouTube channel.
