Saudi Arabia is looking to expand its collaboration with WWE by hosting big shows such as the Royal Rumble and WrestleMania. Since 2018, WWE has held 10 Premium Live Events in Saudi Arabia, featuring events like Crown Jewel and Elimination Chamber. Due to the impact of the COVID-19 pandemic, the current deal between WWE and the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, which is six years into a 10-year agreement, might be extended.

Reports suggest that Turki Alalshikh, the Chairman of the General Entertainment Authority in Saudi Arabia, is keen on bringing major events like the Royal Rumble and WrestleMania to the country. If the agreement is enhanced as anticipated, it would mark the first time that both events are hosted in Saudi Arabia. WWE initially brought events to the Kingdom in 2014, and this potential new development could usher in a new phase in their partnership.

The formal announcement of this proposed deal is expected to be made later this month, potentially coinciding with WWE’s upcoming Premium Live Event in Saudi Arabia, the King and Queen of the Ring on May 25. Should this partnership materialize, it could represent a significant milestone for WWE and Saudi Arabia in the realm of professional wrestling.
