Former UFC middleweight champion Sean Strickland recently expressed his thoughts on both Jon Jones and Conor McGregor in an interview.
While no longer holding a title, Strickland has become a prominent figure in the current UFC scene, amassing a significant fan following who appreciate his boldness and directness.

When discussing Jones, Strickland was straightforward about the current heavyweight champion.
“At the end of the day, dude. Jon Jones is not up to par. I believe it, everyone believes it. There’s no point dwelling on his past, he needs to step up and face Aspinall,” Strickland remarked.
When asked about McGregor and a potential comeback after numerous speculations and uncertainties, Strickland shared his thoughts.
“I’m not sure…should we still be focused on Conor McGregor these days? He’s been away, out of the scene,” Strickland remarked. “Is Conor McGregor still a relevant name in the UFC? It might be time for him to hang up his gloves and retire on a yacht.”
