What would she have done if she hadn’t returned to martial arts at age 18 and gone on to become a three-sport ONE Championship champion?
“When I was a teenager, I wanted to be a math teacher,” Fairtex told the Post over Zoom during a recent visit to New York, through interpreter Matt Lucas. “…I just like math.”
The Rayong, Thailand native is far from solving the toughest equation of her career, winning the vacant ONE title over legendary atomweight Seo Hee-ham via a third-round TKO in Singapore on September 30th.
