WBC lightweight champion Shakur Stevenson criticized IBF belt holder Vasyl Lomachenko for not being willing to engage in unification fights.
Stevenson acknowledged Lomachenko’s contributions to the sport, stating, “I give Lomachenko credit for what he has done for our sport. But lately I’ve lost a lot of respect for him. I don’t understand why he even boxed if he’s not going to fight me or Gervonta Davis. What’s the point? What are you doing?” This was expressed during an interview with Boxing News.
