An exciting match-up is on the horizon in Las Vegas.
Leading UFC strawweight contender Tatiana Suarez (10-0) will meet the third-ranked Virna Jandiroba (21-3) at UFC 310 on Dec. 7 at the T-Mobile Arena. The fight details were initially reported by Ag Fight and later confirmed by reliable sources.
Suarez, a skilled wrestler turned MMA fighter, rose to fame by winning season 23 of The Ultimate Fighter and dominating her initial UFC matches with five straight victories. However, a series of injuries kept her away from competing for nearly four years. She made a successful comeback in 2023 by defeating Montana de la Rosa and Jessica Andrade, aiming for a shot at the 115-pound champion Weili Zhang.
Jandiroba, a former Invicta strawweight champion, faced a challenging UFC debut against former champion Carla Esparza in 2019. Despite encountering some setbacks, she has been on a winning streak lately, securing four consecutive wins over ranked opponents.
The main event for UFC 310 is yet to be officially announced.
