With this victory, Taira now holds a perfect 16-0 record, securing his fourth octagon finish and maintaining a 6-0 streak. Brady Hiestand also walked away with a $50,000 bonus for his third-round submission victory against Garrett Armfield in the bantamweight category. The women’s flyweight Fight of the Night award was shared by Gabriella Fernandez and Carli Judice, both receiving an extra $50,000 for their performance in the preliminary bout. Held on June 15 at the UFC APEX in Las Vegas, UFC Vegas 93 delivered an action-packed event.
