UFC 304 happened recently at Co-op Live in Manchester, England, and had some fighters feeling down after their matches. Curtis Blaydes suffered a quick knockout by Tom Aspinall, and King Green was submitted by Paddy Pimblett in the first round. However, it is Leon Edwards who is facing a tough time after the event.

Before his third Welterweight title defense, Edwards was full of confidence after defeating notable fighters like Kamaru Usman, Colby Covington, and Nate Diaz, and maintaining an unbeaten streak of 13 fights. But Belal Muhammad surprised everyone with his improved performance, controlling the fight for the full 25 minutes. This defeat marked Edwards’ first loss in almost ten years, and he mentioned feeling exhausted throughout the bout.

Although Edwards expressed interest in a rematch, Muhammad hinted that it might not happen for another three years. Looking ahead, Edwards might face the winner of Gilbert Burns vs. Sean Brady in his next match. A third fight with Kamaru Usman is not currently in the cards, and other contenders like Jack Della Maddalena and Ian Garry are already booked for fights.
