According to various credible sources, it is likely that a new undisputed heavyweight champion will be crowned on February 17th. The WBC and lineal champion, Tyson Fury, is expected to face off against Olexandr Usyk, the WBA, WBO, and IBF titlist, in Saudi Arabia. The official announcement of the fight is anticipated to be made soon. Originally, the two heavyweights were supposed to fight on December 23rd, but the bout was postponed due to Fury’s recent match with Francis Ngannou. Now, it seems that the fight is back on track.

In his last fight, Fury, 35, controversially defeated Ngannou in late October. Despite being knocked down, Ngannou’s performance in the boxing ring was commendable, leaving Fury facing challenges. Usyk also faced difficulties in his recent fight against Daniel Dubois, which resulted in a controversial knockdown and a contentious referee decision. Both fighters have much to prove in the upcoming match. Usyk, the former undisputed cruiserweight champion, aims to establish himself as the greatest heavyweight. Meanwhile, Fury needs to recuperate from his previous fight and prepare for the highly skilled Usyk. With Fury’s size advantage and Usyk’s speed, the matchup promises to be intriguing and significant.

There is anticipation and hope that this match will indeed take place.
