Rose Namajunas showed her strength in the UFC Denver headline fight by easily defeating Tracy Cortez. The former Strawweight champion took down Cortez in the first round and dominated the match with her wrestling talents. This win was the highlight of her time in the Flyweight category, positioning her for a chance at the 125-pound division title.

With two consecutive wins in her new weight division, Namajunas is now looking towards a title shot and has her sights set on Lithuania, her parents’ home country. She mentioned a possible rematch with Manon Fiorot for the championship but is open to any opportunities that the UFC might offer.

Despite the difficulties of arranging UFC events in new locations, Namajunas remains positive. Alongside her pursuit of a Flyweight title, she has also toyed with the idea of competing for the first-ever women’s BMF belt, even if she first brought it up in a light-hearted manner.

Following her recent victory, Namajunas has several paths before her. She could potentially be just one win away from contending for the Flyweight crown, lining herself up for an exciting future in the octagon.
