Dr. Britt Baker returned to AEW at Forbidden Door and engaged in a feud with Mercedes Mone over the AEW TBS Championship. Their rivalry peaked in a match at All In where Mone successfully defended her title. Following that event, Baker has been absent from AEW.

AEW President Tony Khan addressed Baker’s absence during the All Out post-show media scrum, offering a somewhat mysterious response about the situation.

“It was fantastic to see Dr. Britt Baker at AEW All In, Wembley Stadium. She plays a crucial role in the AEW roster, and with events like Grand Slam in New York and WrestleDream on the horizon, her presence will be key. We anticipate her return and look forward to what’s next for her,” stated Khan.

As reported by “Fightful Select,” Baker was notably absent from the All Out event in Chicago, extending her time away from the ring. Mone’s remarks regarding their match in London also provided some hints regarding a possible explanation for Baker’s absence.
