Tracy Cortez aims to extend her winning streak this summer as she prepares to take on Miranda Maverick.

As reported by Mike Heck from MMA Fighting, Cortez (11-1) is set to battle Maverick (13-5) at a UFC event scheduled for July 20 at UFC APEX in Las Vegas.

Maverick took to her social media to announce the forthcoming matchup.

Since making her UFC debut in November 2019, Cortez has maintained a flawless 5-0 record in the octagon. She has amassed 11 consecutive victories since 2017, with her latest win being a unanimous decision against Jasmine Jasudavicius.

Cortez’s progress has been somewhat limited by her sparse fighting schedule, having only competed once in 2023, 2022, 2021, and 2020.

At just 26 years old, Maverick holds a UFC record of 6-3 and is poised to break into the top-10 rankings. She has emerged victorious in four of her last five bouts, securing wins over Andrea Lee and Priscila Cachoeira in her two most recent fights.
