Gilbert Burns upset the crowd at UFC 287.

Back in April 2023, Burns faced Jorge Masvidal in Miami. Masvidal, a big representative of Miami in MMA, had the crowd behind him. Despite that, Burns emerged victorious with a unanimous decision after 15 minutes of fighting.

Burns (22-7 MMA, 15-7 UFC) is set to fight in the main event of UFC Fight Night 242 this Saturday at the UFC Apex in Las Vegas. He will be up against welterweight contender Sean Brady (16-1 MMA, 6-1 UFC).
