It has been disclosed that there is a close tie between the UFC and certain members of Delta Force.

In a recent conversation with former Delta Force operator Dave Nielsen about his combat experiences and the harsh realities of war, Dave shared that a few UFC fighters have assisted in training Delta Force operatives in hand-to-hand combat over the years.

Yes, you heard that right. Some of Dana White’s top fighters have contributed to teaching Delta Force members how to handle adversaries with physical combat techniques, if the situation demands it.

Delta Force veteran reveals former UFC fighters train Unit members.

Initially, I was taken aback by Dave’s revelations in the interview. It’s truly remarkable that top fighters associated with Dana White are aiding American commandos in combat training.

Upon further investigation, there are some indicators out there. Medal of Honor recipient Thomas P. Payne has spent time with Jon Jones, and retired Unit commando Brent Tucker has interacted with Mike Perry.

It appears that this association has been known to the public if you look in the right places.

I have reached out to the UFC for a response regarding their fighters assisting Delta Force operatives in hand-to-hand combat, but have not received a reply yet. I will provide an update if they respond.

One thing I can say with absolute certainty is that it is incredibly impressive that UFC fighters are supporting our elite soldiers. Some athletes in America, like Colin Kaepernick, may not even show respect during the national anthem. LeBron James remains quiet on China’s issues while criticizing freedom of speech in the United States.

On the contrary, UFC athletes are aiding Delta Force operatives in honing their combat skills. The thought of an ISIS member being taken down with a fierce knee strike or being put in an armbar brings a smirk to my face.

Fortunately, Delta Force is highly skilled and quick with firearms, making hand-to-hand combat scenarios almost unimaginable. However, if such a situation arises, it seems that the good guys will be prepared to handle it well. Share your thoughts with me at David.Hookstead@outkick.com!
