Ultimate Fighting Championship (UFC) heads east this weekend (Sat., Dec. 14, 2024) with UFC Tampa inside Amalie Arena in Tampa, Florida. The mixed martial arts (MMA) event is streamed LIVE on ESPN+, featuring former interim Welterweight champion, Colby Covington, taking on rising 170-pound contender, Joaquin Buckley, atop the marquee.
UFC Tampa’s co-main event has veteran Cub Swanson meeting the always-tough, Billy Quarantillo. Australian Contender Series graduate, Najavo Stirling, is also on the main card. The interesting Heavyweight prospect is scheduled to face Tuco Tokkos in a potential showcase. Manel Kape, who has a TKO win over Kai Asakura, is also on the main card, squaring off against Bruno Silva.
UFC Tampa’s “Prelims” undercard includes Michael Johnson vs. Ottman Azaitar and Miranda Maverick vs. Jamey-Lyn Horth. Hot prospect Joel Alvarez is also on that portion of the card, fighting Drakkar Klose.
