Edson Barboza, a long-time featherweight contender, will face off against undefeated British fighter Lerone Murphy at UFC Vegas 92, an upcoming MMA event scheduled for Saturday, May 18, 2024. The event will determine their ranks in the top 15 of the weight class and will take place at the Promotion’s APEX facility in Las Vegas, Nevada.
The event now has an official poster that fans are applauding for its “old school boxing” aesthetic.

Barboza (24-11) currently holds a two-fight win streak. He secured a victory against Billy Quarantillo with a fierce knee strike at UFC Kansas City and followed it up with a unanimous decision win over Sodiq Yousaf at UFC Vegas 81 in the previous autumn.
Murphy, aged 32, holds a record of 13-0-1, and he is six years younger than Barboza. His UFC debut at UFC 242 ended in a draw against Zubaira Tukhugov, and he later clinched a decision win over Joshua Culibao at UFC London last summer, marking five consecutive victories.
Apart from the Barboza-Murphy clash, UFC Vegas 92 will showcase a strawweight bout between Angela Hill and Luana Pinheiro. The fight card also includes matchups like Wally Alves vs. Abs Magomedov in the middleweight category, and Tim Elliott vs. Akira Hira in the 125-pound division.
