Fans in the United Kingdom can rest easy knowing they’ll have a way to catch WWE Saturday Night’s Main Event live on December 14. For the first time since 2008, the iconic event returns, emanating from the Nassau Coliseum in Long Island, New York, with a stacked card featuring three blockbuster title matches.
The event will air live on NBC in the United States, but there had been uncertainty about how UK viewers could tune in, especially with the WWE Network showing a rerun of NXT TakeOver: Chicago II during the same time slot. That question has now been answered.
As confirmed via WWE UK’s official Twitter account, Saturday Night’s Main Event will stream live on WWE’s YouTube channel at 1AM GMT, giving UK fans free access to the event.
The card is shaping up to be one of the most exciting nights of the year, with Cody Rhodes set to defend his Undisputed WWE Championship against Kevin Owens, Liv Morgan challenging IYO SKY for the Women’s World Championship, and GUNTHER putting his World Heavyweight Championship on the line against Finn Balor.
This announcement comes as WWE prepares to close its WWE Network streaming service on January 1, 2025, with all programming transitioning to Netflix. The transition has raised questions about WWE’s future broadcast plans for special events outside of the U.S.
This week also saw the announcement of another edition of Saturday Night’s Main Event, scheduled for January 25 in San Antonio, Texas. While no UK television broadcast details have been revealed for that show, fans can hope for a similar arrangement on WWE’s YouTube channel.
