Last weekend’s Bellator and UFC events led to several changes in this week’s rankings update.
The biggest change of the week was from the now undisputed Bellator bantamweight champion Patchy Mix after defeating Sergio Pettis at Beorthor 301. Mix submitted Pettis in the second round to claim the undisputed bantamweight title. As a result, Mix jumped from being ranked No. 10 to No. 4 and entered the top five in the USA TODAY Sports/MMA Junkie Bantamweight Rankings for the first time.
