Valentina Shevchenko is set on winning back the UFC Flyweight title for the second time. The highly awaited rematch with current champion Alexa Grasso is scheduled to happen at UFC 306 in Las Vegas this Saturday, on September 14, 2024.

Their rivalry started when Grasso surprisingly defeated Shevchenko with a submission at UFC 285 in March 2023. Their next fight ended in a draw in September 2023. Shevchenko feels she should have won that match and is eager to prove herself in the upcoming bout.

Shevchenko is now fully focused on getting ready for the anticipated showdown. She last won a fight when she defended her title against Taila Santos at UFC 275 in June 2022.

UFC 306 will also showcase a Bantamweight main event between Sean O’Malley and Merab Dvalishvili, celebrating Mexican Independence Day during Riyadh Season. The co-main event will feature Grasso and Shevchenko settling their rivalry once and for all. Fans can watch the action starting with the Prelims card at 6:30 p.m. ET, followed by the PPV main card at 10 p.m. ET.

Be sure not to miss this exciting fight night in Las Vegas as Shevchenko aims to leave her mark in history once more.
