UFC 295 is set to take place on Saturday at New York’s iconic Madison Square Garden and will showcase two championship titles up for grabs.
In the main event, former champions Jiri Prochaska and Alex Pereira will compete for the vacant light heavyweight belt. Meanwhile, in the co-main event, Sergei Pavlovic and Tom Aspinall will battle for the interim heavyweight title following champion Jon Jones’ withdrawal from his fight with Stipe Miocic due to a chest injury.
Prior to the fight night, USA TODAY Sports host Mackenzie Salmon sat down with UFC Hall of Famer Michael Bisping on “Sports Seriously” to delve into the top matchups.
“These two are both on fire,” Bisping commented regarding Pavlovic and Aspinall. “Sergey has been knocking out opponents with staggering first-round punches. He possesses an incredible power… Tom is truly exceptional. He, too, has been securing first-round knockouts. I believe I’m going to outperform Sergey Pavlovich. That’s my prediction.”
