Dana White acknowledges talent when he sees it. The head of the UFC has been praising Jon Jones as the greatest MMA fighter ever, and now he is extending that praise to Joe Rogan. In a recent conversation with Brian Kilmeade on FOX’s One Nation, White referred to Rogan as one of the best decisions he made for the UFC. Even though Rogan had prior experience in MMA commentary, White was impressed by Rogan’s enthusiasm for the sport after watching a VHS tape of Rogan defending MMA on a sports show. This led to White reaching out to Rogan, and they immediately hit it off.

Rogan, who started working without pay, swiftly became one of the most cherished and well-informed combat sports commentators. He teamed up with Mike Goldberg for many years, offering expert insights and analysis to fans. Nowadays, Rogan mainly covers U.S. pay-per-view events, often working alongside Jon Anik and Daniel Cormier. While some critics have noted flaws in certain commentary combinations, Rogan’s reputation as a premier MMA commentator is firmly established.

Much like Jon Jones, Joe Rogan has left a significant mark in the realm of MMA commentary. The debate over whether he is the greatest of all time in all combat sports continues.
