Will Ospreay clinched the AEW International Championship in his home turf of England, entertaining 50,000 fans at Wembley Stadium. Not only did Ospreay secure his 2-0 record at Wembley but he was also inducted into the Order of Assassins, all thanks to his special Assassin’s Creed-themed entrance.

During the post-All In press conference, Ospreay revealed that a friend connected him with Ubisoft, the developer of the game.
“For Wrestle Kingdom, we were able to replicate the Jack The Ripper entrance from Assassin’s Creed Syndicate; this garnered significant attention on social media and in terms of promotion. Even though it wasn’t the latest game, Ubisoft noticed the impact and suggested using ‘Shadows’ from Assassin’s Creed, set in Japan this time. Having spent eight years of my youth in Japan, the connection was strong,” Ospreay shared.
Ospreay explained that in NJPW, he was advised to create a persona that resonated with fans, leading to the birth of his “Aerial Assassin” character inspired by his love for the popular gaming franchise.
