Alpha Academy’s Otis recently accepted Oba Femi’s challenge for the NXT North American Championship, but unfortunately, he fell short of winning the title. After the match, Otis, with Akira Tozawa and Maxxine Dupri, shared his emotions and mindset following his defeat. To emphasize his point, Otis reflected on the guiding principles instilled by his late mother. “Before my mother passed away six months ago, she always encouraged me. Despite working three jobs and raising two kids, every action she took had a purpose.”

According to Otis, his mother’s advice continues to resonate with him as he navigates life’s challenges. “She once told me, ‘Success is like climbing a hill, you face setbacks at every turn. The higher you climb, the harder the obstacles, until you finally achieve your goal.'” Although Otis didn’t win the North American Title, he vows to continue his rivalry with Femi and issued a warning to the current champion. “The final victory is the sweetest. This is not over, Big O.”

It remains to be seen if Otis will have another opportunity to compete for the title in the future. The ongoing rivalry between Alpha Academy and Chad Gable, along with his alliance with the Creed Brothers, who recently bested them on “WWE Raw,” suggests that there are unresolved conflicts yet to be settled.
